HOW TO JOIN EACHA?

All institutions within Europe that fulfil the role of an Automated Clearing House (ACH) can apply for membership of EACHA. An ACH is defined by the European Central Bank as ‘an electronic clearing system in which payment orders are exchanged among financial institutions’. A more specific definition of an ACH can be found in the
ECB Blue Book. Membership applications will be discussed at the next General Assembly meeting of EACHA. Applicants need to win the votes of at least two thirds of the members.
